Grant by Richard a Mynde of Kyngescaple in the county of Hereford, yeoman, to James Ravenhill of Ledycott in the same county, yeoman, for £50 of a messuage with its appurtenances lying in Checkley within the parish of Mordyford, now or late in the tenure or occupation of Sebill Archard, widow; to hold free of all incumbrances save the jointure of Joan, wife of the grantor, and a lease for 41 years dated 22 June 36 Henry VIII [1544] made to Thomas Archard and his wife.
